ONAM CELEBRATION
The Onam season has once again come alive with the message of peace and harmony. The staff, the students and the management of Deepalaya School, KalkaJi Extn celebrated Onam. The festival teaches lessons of brotherhood, happiness, contentment, devotion, sharing, sacrifice and surrender to the Higher Self.
RAKSHABANDHAN
The festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with a traditional fervor and gaiety at Deepalaya School Kalkaji Extn where Rakhis were tied by the school children. On this occasion, Manager and Principal were also present. The Manager said that the the India had great traditional of festivals. The Rakshabandhan was also a symbolic of sentiments of protection, family feeling, security and lifelong bonding. He said that this festival was a unique festival which strengthened the bonds of love, harmony, amity and brotherhood not between the brother and sister but in the society also.
Sweets and Gifts were also distributed among the students. On this solemn occasion, the Principal called upon the students that they should work hard to get success in their life.
