MOTIVATE TO TEACH

Deepalaya organized a two days workshop on ‘MOTIVATE TO TEACH’ for the teachers of all the branches of Deepalaya at DSKE on 11th & 12th October, 2010.

The workshop began with the inspiring & encouraging words from Reverend Father Alexander Thomas.  He explained the concept of morality & spirituality behind teaching.  He advised the teachers to teach from heart and never to lose the vision and mission of teaching.  He also explained how an ‘Upadhyaya’ (teacher) must continuously make efforts to become an ‘Acharya’ i.e. a teacher who in real life himself practices what he teaches.  He also emphasized the fact that ultimate goal of every teacher should be to become a real ‘Guru’ in his life.

Later on the workshop continued with Mrs. Mariam Mathew.  She commenced her address by giving stress on the philosophy that everybody can achieve excellence in his/her life according to one’s potential.  We teachers should have our Gg’s going i.e. Great Mind and Goal Orientation
