INSTALLATION OF THE INTERACT CLUB; 2010-2011
Installation of the Interact Club, 2010 held on 30th August, 2010 commenced successfully. The honourable guests presided for the meet. The president of the Rotary Club, Mr.T.V.S.Sethi, the Secretary, Ms.Kavita and chief guest Ms.Manjeet Singh Sawhney graced the occasion with their presence. The Chairman of Deepalaya School, Rotarian T.K.Mathew enlightened every interactor about what this club is all about and its achievements worldwide.
The out going president of the Interact Club, Deepalaya School Kalkaji Extension, Ms.Neelam Singh handed over the charge of her team to the newly elected interact club members. All the newly elected office bearers were pinned up with their badges by the President, Secretary & members of the Rotary Club.
Shri Y. Chackochan, Manager Deepalaya School and Inner wheel member Mrs. Mathew graced the occasion.
The Interactors were addressed by Rotary President Mr. T.V.S. Sethi.
The chief Guest, Mr. Manjeet Sawhney told the students that the world is scared of the Indians because of their competency in English and Mathematics.
The Principal Mrs Anita sawhney wished the new team and assured the house that the students are working on their skills and can face any challenge in their life.
Mr. Sawhney and Mr. Shahani presented a memento to the Principal Mrs. Anita Sawhney and a certificate to the outgoing Interact President Ms. Neelam for the significant contribution in furthering the cause of the Rotary in year 2009-10.
