FOUNDERS’ DAY CELEBRATION
The 34th Founders’ Day of Deepalaya was celebrated in Deepalaya School Kalkaji Extension on 16th July in the school auditorium. Mr.A.J.Philip, Mrs. Philip, Mr.Sakhi John and our Principal Madam Mrs.Anita Sawhney graced the occasion. Celebration started with the lighting of the lamp followed by the Mission Song. Mr.A.J.Philip enriched us with some stories related to education. A presentation about Deepalaya and its achievement were shown to the children. Sonali, Anupma and Amandeep of DSKE recited a poem each written by them. Principal Madam said some encouraging words and the value of health, hygiene and education. Principal Madam, Mr. Sakhi John, Mrs and Mr. Philip along with some teachers and students planted some saplings.
Certificates were handed over to the winner of the Zonal Competitions and Yoga. The day ended with the National Anthem.
