The Annual Sports meet of Deepalaya School, Kalkaji Extension for the session of 2011-12 was held on 3rd February 2012 with a lot of enthusiasm. Mr. George Mathew Founder Chairman of Institution of Social Sciences was the chief guest along with Mr.A.J.Philip. Then they started with the prayer song followed by the unfurling of the flag by the chief guest. This was followed by the March Past and dance performance by the small kids of Deepalaya. The senior children had done a formation DEEPALAYA. Several races were conducted and prizes were given to the deserving candidates. It was a day full of fun and frolic where the students brimming with enthusiasm and just assembled in their respective House arenas.
It was a great day for all. Amartya Sen House won the overall Trophy. There are secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failures. Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted.
