To mark the prominent role of girls in our society, on 24th September 2010, Deepalaya School Kalka Ji Extn celebrated the International Girl Child Day. “Every parent should understand the importance of having a girl child. We try to motivate the parents and tell them that both their son and daughter are equal,” shared Ms. Anita Sahwney, Principal of the School. The School had some skits which portrayed the present status of girls in underprivileged families which definitely made the audience emotional.
